So, yesterday was Delurk Day in the world of blogging. Due to a busy day yesterday, I am now a day late and a dollar short on this one.
I still thought it was kind of a fun idea, so here goes.
To any lurkers, I will just say this. Thank you so much for reading my blog. Sometimes I feel like I’m pouring my heart out and wondering {is there anyone out there? Hello?} I’m actually ok with that, because I didn’t start this blog to become an internet marketer, product reviewer or momtrepeneur (although, of course, if I had the time and mental wherewithall to devote myself 100% to this blog, I’d certainly be all over that). I started it to exchange ideas and support for fellow moms in the trenches and also give myself an outlet to explore my passions – being a mother and writing.
I have a general idea of who the regular readers of this blog are (a few friends from daily life, many friends from my journey to motherhood and many new friends who share the same challenges I do). I don’t even know if I have any silent lurkers. If I do, now is the time to make yourself known! Say hi, tell me about yourself, how long you’ve been reading, etc.
Honestly, I would love to hear from you!
I read your blog 🙂
Here! I believe I'm in the category of friends from your journey to motherhood. 😉 I love your blog, and can't believe how often I find myself saying ME TOO, ME TOO!
woops, I'm totally busted. I hate to admit it, but I am a lurker! I've never been a lurker before, in fact, yours is one of only two blogs I follow. I don't even know how to follow it properly, I just have it bookmarked along with my million other bookmarks. I followed an article from Mamasource/Mamapedia (a month or so ago), to your blog and found myself identifying with so much of what you had written, that I bookmarked it and visit it probably weekly! It really passes the time when I am at work, wishing I was at home. The Mamasource article was about your husband being laid off and becoming a 'house husband' which happened to us for a short period last year and may happen again very soon. I found myself pulling for you as you almost got that job, and laughing my ass off when you described the ill-fated 'sleepover' at your relatives. I am a working mom (i work 4 days a week) with a three year old and I relate to your blog in too many ways to list. It has also inspired me to try to update my own blog more often, even though my family is the only ones that even know the blog exists, much less read it. My blog is http://www.adk-rootsandwings.blogspot.com/ – feel free to lurk! Thanks for the laughs…ADK from MN
